Vatsalya Children Hospital's NICU has the capacity to take care of the most critically ill newborns, whether full term or premature. We have state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, a highly trained and skilled staff and are well-prepared to manage the most complex cases. In addition, we support developmentally appropriate care including kangaroo care and breastfeeding, which are important to infants, cared for in the NICU.

The unit is probably the best in Central India with regards to design, quality of construction, and the underlying child safety measures: restricted access designated sterile zones, uninterrupted power supply, medical gas distribution system and medical infrastructure.
